Akshay Kumar finds relief with comedy

Akshay Kumar’s ‘Airlift’ (2016) saw much success among critics and at the box office. He’s now gearing up for ‘Housefull 3’ which will see him return once again to the comedy genre. The actor spoke about a feeling of relief.

“I feel relieved when I do light comedy films. For quite sometime I was in tense mood as I was doing films like ‘Airlift’. It’s lot of fun when I do a film like ‘Housefull’. We had a great time shooting for ‘Housefull 3′”, said Kumar, according to PTI.

Kumar doesn’t see it as much importance that he manages to have four releases a year, “It’s not rocket science…one can do that many films. A film usually takes 60 days or so to finish. For ‘Housefull 3’ I took 38 days as everybody came on time so it all happened fast. I heard ‘Mission Impossible’ was shot in 52 days.”

Alongside Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Nargis Fakhri, Jacqueline Fernandez and Lisa Haydon star in ‘Housefull 3’ which is directed by Sajid-Farhad.
