Akshay Kumar drops dance show for Rajinikanth’s ‘Robot 2’

Akshay Kumar has been known for working on films of different genres which thereby gives him an opportunity to exploit his abilities. Like always, the superstar has repeated the legacy by doing four movies of different genres.

The actor has impressed many with his dedication and hard-work towards his work. According to DNA, even superstar Rajinikanth found something interesting about Kumar and thereby roped him in his next ‘Robot 2’ as villain.

Reports are that Kumar was all set to do a dance reality show but with dates of ‘Robot 2’ clashing, chose the film over the reality show.

Kumar is also very excited for this very huge project in which he will be seen sharing screen with Rajinikanth and his ‘Singh Is Bling’ co-star Amy Jackson.

The actor has charged a massive Rs 25 crore amount for playing a grey character in the film whose budget is 350 crore. ‘Robot 2’ is a sequel of ‘Robot’ which starred Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead.

Meanwhile, the 48-year old actor is also busy with the promotions of his upcoming film, ‘Airlift’ which is based on the biggest evacuation of mankind till date.
