Akshay Kumar believes in social message films over documentaries

Akshay Kumar made a shift somewhat in recent times towards films which hold social messages and can promote change in Indian society. The explained that he thinks they’re more effective than documentaries.

“I personally believe there is no point making documentary films. I’ve seen several times in many villages, sorry to say, but nobody reacts to that. People like to see a commercial film. I consider myself lucky who got an opportunity to do commercial cinema and give people a social message in a very different way,” said the actor, according to Financial Express.

He will be seen next in ‘Kesari’ and ‘Housefull 4’ as well as ‘Mission Mangal’.
