Akshay Kumar all for raunchy comedy

He has defiantly proved that he is an all round actor, but Akshay Kumar feels he is yet to try new characters. With Bollywood genres becoming all the more open to new ideas, Kumar expresses how he wouldn’t mind taking part in a comedy that includes a few vulgarised scene, providing the script is a good one.

“If I get a good script, I will also do it. At the end of the day, it’s just a film. It’s just a character that you are following. You do not become a sex maniac or anything as such. Take a film as a film let it be reel not real,”��Times of India reported the actor stating.

Understanding what such films would entail of, Kumar explains how he doesn’t mind if he loses a few audiences if they are uncomfortable watching those types of films, “I think sex comedy is a very good genre. I did it long back. I would put ‘Garam Masala’ (2005) in the same zone.��If it’s a sex comedy don’t feel shy what the audience will think and all! If you are making such a film, trust yourself and go with your conviction rather than thinking about you will lose few audience with this film.”

Looking at his fan base however, if Kumar was to take on such a projects, it’s doubtful he would lose a high number of audiences. With many of his provocative comedy films doing so well at the box office, it seems his fans only want to see more.
