Akshay Kumar & Alia Bhatt perfect for Sriram Raghavan’s ‘Gone With The Bullet’?

Sriram Raghavan, who is currently scripting his adaptation of ‘The Accidental Apprentice’, will also soon soon be directing the the cinematic adaptation of Sheeja Jose’s ‘Gone With The Bullet’.

Speaking about her story, Jose told Mumbai Mirror, “It took me two years to complete and when things didn’t fall in place with Sujoy (Ghosh), I turned the script into a book. The story follows an 18-year-old girl who falls in love with a 40-something assassin.”

Jose already has an ideal cast in mind and believes her director will agree with her choice.

“I think Sriram will agree that Akshay Kumar would be perfect as the brooding, dark assassin and Alia Bhatt as the new-age girl in love. It’s a hatke romance against the backdrop of bullets,” Jose added.

If Kumar and Bhatt come on board as the writer hopes, this would not be the first time the two share film credits. As a child actor, Bhatt had a small role in the Akshay Kumar starrer’Sangharsh’ (1999).
