Akshara Haasan to play Sridevi’s daughter?

BizAsia reported a while back that Sridevi is all set to work in a project which her husband Boney Kapoor will produce. The buzz at the time suggested that the film was a tale of a step-mother and step-daughter. Now, it is being said that Akshara Haasan has bagged the stepdaughter�۪s role.

Haasan will be making her debut in Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush starrer ��Shamitabh�۪ but it seems Kapoor has already taken to the young actress and cast her in his upcoming film. A source spoke to DNA India, ���Boney saw portions of Shamitabh and was convinced that this newcomer would be able to share screen space with his wife�۝.

Sridevi has acted with Haasan�۪s father, Kamal, in many films in South cinema and it will be interesting seeing her now share the screen with his offspring.
