Akash Chawla named ZEE TV’s Business Head

Akash Chawla has been named as ZEE TV’s new Business Head, replacing Pradeep Hejmadi.

Chawla, will also continue his current duty as Business Head- Essel Vision Productions Limited/ZEE Studios. Previously, Chawla led the marketing for ZEE TV, ZEE Cinema and ZEE Classic. He has also a pivotal role in the launches of &Pictures, ZEE Anmol and Zindagi.

Meanwhile, Deepak Rajadhyaksha, who has been the Business Head of ZEE Marathi, will take on the position of Deputy Business Head, ZEE TV. He will report to Chawla.

Both will work closely with ZEEL – MD & CEO, Punit Goenka to push ZEE TV to new heights.
