Ajay Devgn, who currently has a jam packed schedule of upcoming films, recently shared some updates about his collaboration with Neeraj Pandey. The film about 4th century BC scholar Chanakya is shaping up to be a thorough examination of the historical figure, potentially resulting in more than one film.
“This film will be made in two parts because we have a lot to say. Chanakya was way ahead of his time. Whatever is happening today, politically and otherwise, he has spoken it all at that time. He had a vast knowledge and we see whatever he had mentioned then, happening worldwide now.”, Devgn said, adding that, “Director Neeraj is busy in scripting. I said it could be made in two parts, merely because summing up his life and history will not be possible in one part.”, Deccan Chronicle reported.
‘Chanakya’ is planning to begin shooting towards the end of this year. Devgn is currently preparing to be on the sets of Boney Kapoor’s untitled sports film.
