Ajay Devgn to replace Salman Khan in ‘Bajirao Mastani’?

Its been ten years since we’ve been hearing about Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much talked about project ‘Bajirao Mastani’, it now looks like there will be movement.

The filmmaker who has been wanting to sign Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor for the project, may have to settle with Ajay Devgn due to Khan’s workload.

An insider told Mid-Day, “Salman and Kareena even did the photo-shoot in the attire at a five-star hotel in Juhu.” However, the film didn’t take off and when Sanjay wanted to revive it, Salman who was dating Katrina Kaif had insisted he consider Kat instead of Bebo.”

Reports suggest that Bhansali is in talks with Devgn for the role of the famous Peshwa, with either sticking to Kapoor or roping in Katrina Kaif.

Bhansali is currently working on ‘Ram Leela’, which has been in the news for the wrong reasons after Kareena Kapoor walked out of the film but only to return few weeks later. The film also stars Ranveer Singh.
