Ajay Devgn to host new ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’

Reports out today indicate that Akshay Kumar has been replaced as the host of the new series of ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ with Ajay Devgn.

Kumar who has presented the past three seasons of the adventure based reality show, will be unavailable due to his hectic schedule. As well as working on new film projects, Kumar will become father again when wife Twinkle Khanna gives birth in September. The shoot of the show would clash with when Khanna is expected to go into labour.

Whilst there was talk of John Abraham hosting the show, he is busy completing four movies and thus Devgn looked like the best candidate. Devgn starred in action flick ‘Singham’ (2011), which proved a runaway success at the box office.

A paper confirmed that actor has been signed on for the show, and will soon start shooting for it.
