Ajay Devgn to celebrate his 100th film with ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’

Ajay Devgn has completed 30 years in the industry. And in even more of a celebration, his upcoming period drama, ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior,’ is the superstar’s 100th film.

The movie, which also stars Kajol and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles, is a historical saga about the main character, portrayed by Devgn. The movie shows how his character represented Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s army and fought till his last breath, reports Mid Day.

Devgn’s team also released a special poster and video commemorating his 100th film and celebrating his three decades in the industry. Other stars also took to social media to congratulate him on this amazing achievement. Shah Rukh Khan wrote on Twitter whilst Arshad Warsi also added his best wishes.

His 100th film, directed by Om Raut, is based on the life of Tanaji Malusare, a military leader in the army of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Besides this film, Devgn will also be seen in ‘Maidaan,’ a biopic in which he plays football legend, Syed Abdul Rahim.

‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ releases in January next year.
