Ajay Devgn & Tabu reunite for a romcom?

Tabu and Ajay Devgn are said to be reuniting on screen again. The pair had first starred together in ‘Vijaypath’ (1994).

Reported in Ahmedabad Mirror, the untitled film will be a a contemporary romcom, but the ‘Cheeni Kum’ (2007) actress and Devgn will not be each other’s love interests. The film will be produced by Luv Ranjan who helmed the ‘Pyaar Ka Punchama’ franchise and his business partner Ankur Garg. Akiv Ali will be making his directorial debut.

Tabu is very much looking forward to the project. A close source shared, “It’s a unique romcom and not a love triangle. Ajay and Tabu are not opposite each other and Luv has written the role with Tabu in mind, believing that only she can play the part. Another A-list actress will be cast as Ajay’s love interest.”

The source further added that due to Devgn busy shooting in Goa for ‘Golmaal Again’, there has been no reading or narration of the film for him yet.

The film is slated to go on floors by the end of the year.
