Ajay Devgn- Sanjay Dutt & Farhan Akthar to collaborate for ‘Jigarthanda’ remake?

Speculation is doing the round that Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt and Farhan Akthar are coming together for the first time on screen.

According to Bollywood Hungama, the trio are going to remake the Tamil film ‘Jigarthanda’ (2014), which is based on Tamil black comedy-crime, originally written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The story is of an aspiring filmmaker who, after being thrown out of a reality TV show, decides to make a film on real-life gangster. The film won two National Awards in 2014 for Best Goon essayed by Bobby Simha and Best Editing by Vivek Harshan.

Devgn will be producing this time round, with Nishikant Kamat directing the film. Dutt and Akthar will both star in the film. Lakshmi Menon who was the female lead in the original version looks likely to essay the same role for the Hindi version. It has not yet been confirmed who will play the other characters in the film.
