Ajay Devgn rumoured to be in talks to release three films directly on OTT

Ajay Devgn is reportedly set to directly release three of his upcoming films on a digital platform, after “advanced” talks with a major OTT platform.

The films, which are said to be in discussion include ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’ and his two production projects – ‘The Big Bull’ starring Abhishek Bachchan and Rajkummar Rai’s ‘Chhalaang’.

A source told Bollywood Hungama, “It’s a three film deal and the actor is being offered a big chunk of money. With no clarity around the reopening of cinema halls, the stakeholders feel it’s best to get the film on the OTT platform and entertain the audience on the small screen. While Bhuj shoot is almost complete with just patch work remaining, Big Bull and Chhalaang are currently in the post – production stage.”

Meanwhile, talks to release Akshay Kumar’s ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ on Hotstar have also reportedly accelerated, according to a source, “It’s a matter of time before they make an announcement. By keeping the suspense intact, the makers are trying to generate buzz and anticipation around the film. Akshay is usually the first to issue a clarification on rumors, and with that not happening, it’s certain that the film will arrive on Hotstar.”
