Ajay Devgn & KFC join forces for HOPE initiative

After the successful social media campaign for developing a girl child, there�۪s no stopping Ajay Devgn in his quest for bettering the lives of others. Devgn who is currently an ambassador for HOPE (Health Oriented Programmes and Education), has now joined forces with the popular fast food franchise KFC India.

According to Bollywood Hungama, KFC and other food programmes such as WFP (World Food Programme), IFBN (India Food Banking Network) are coming together with the HOPE initiative to provide 20 million meals to the underprivileged children in India by 2020.

In a statement Devgn says, “With such a large population, hunger is one of the most critical issues that our country faces. I think being associated as a HOPE ambassador is one of the most challenging roles I have ever taken on. We are hoping to tackle a big, complex problem head on by raising awareness about hunger�۝.

Devgn further added, ���A difference a meal can make to a child�۪s development is huge. On screen, we all like to see the bad guys defeated, you too can contribute to defeating hunger and become a real life hero by adding a nominal amount Rs. 5 to the bill each time you visit KFC�۝.
