Ajay Devgn holds on to TV rights for ‘Golmaal Again’

Going by the overwhelming response to Rohit Shetty’s latest comedy caper ‘Golmaal Again’, Ajay Devgn has decided to hold on to the rights for his films.

‘Golmaal Again’, which is edging close to the Rs. 100 crore mark after just four days of its release, will now see Devgn sell rights to the blockbuster differently to his previous films. His films rights currently belong to Star TV, so it remains to be seen who will pick up the rights for ‘Golmaal Again’.

A source told Deccan Chronicle, “The earlier Golmaal films would air every weekend on some channel or the other as well, so Ajay has kept the satellite rights for this film — a smart move indeed, since it is bound to bring in a lot of money.”
