Aishwarya-Sushmita to share the screen in ‘Happy Anniversary’?

Beauty queens in Bollywood are plenty but not many have shared the screen together. One can remember that Lara Dutta and Priyanka Chopra were seen together in ‘Andaaz’ (2003). However, it seems audiences may well be in for a rare treat as BizAsia has learnt that ex Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s comeback vehicle may also star ex Miss Universe Sushmita Sen.

Prahlad Kakkar, who is hoping to have Rai Bachchan in his debut ‘Happy Anniversary’, has approached Sen for a supporting role in the movie. He confirmed the news to Mumbai Mirror, “If all goes well, we should have Sushmita in Happy Anniversary. It will be a pleasure to work with her”.

Recently, Madhuri Dixit-Nene was seen with Juhi Chawla. The two actresses were arch-rivals once upon a time. Rai Bachchan and Sen may well have been compared with each other at some time but it seems rivalry is a thing of the past for them. A source stated, “If both are satisfied with the length and quality of their respective roles, they won’t allow their personal equation to come in the way”.

Well, let’s hope this casting coup by Kakkar is something that he succeeds in. The film is expected to have Abhishek Bachchan as male lead too.
