Aishwarya supports Salman’s appointment as Goodwill Ambassador

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan usually dodges questions on ex-flame Salman Khan. However, as Khan is embroiled in controversy at the moment regarding his appointment as Goodwill Ambassador for the Rio Olympics, Rai Bachchan did give her view on the matter at a recent event.

Rai Bachchan is quoted by ZEE News, “I have to say that anyone, who is doing good to represent the country or working or speaking or standing for the betterment of art, music or sports, is wonderful and the person needs to be recognised”

Many sports personalities have given their views on the debate as have Bollywood celebs. The Indian Olympic Association have chosen to stand by their decision.
