Aishwarya Rai Bachchan trolled for kissing Aaradhya on the lips

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been criticised by a section of Internet trolls after she posted a picture on Instagram, kissing her daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan on the lips.

The trolls accused her of behaving in an unsuitable manner for planting a kiss on her daughter’s lips.

Talking about the controversy, Pooja Bhatt, who herself was at the receiving end of the controversy when she was pictured kissing her father, said, “Since when does a mother need permission from the world to kiss her child?”

Dia Mirza added, “Since when was a mother’s display of affection a reason for trolling? This is absurd.”

A source close to the Bachchan household, told Deccan Chronicle, “To be targeted for every innocent gesture, just because you are who you are, is a little unfair. Aishwarya has stayed away from social media for this reason only. She knew her every move would be monitored and judged. She hates it. But she will never dignify the trolls with a response.”
