Aishwarya Rai Bachchan treated to sneak peak of ‘Housefull 3’?

Former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan understands that she and her actor husband Abhishek Bachchan share similar sensibilities when it comes to choosing the films they do and try to experiment with various genres.

On the one hand��Aishwarya made a traditional and well received appearance at the Cannes Film Festival this year and welcomed questions about her upcoming film, ‘Sarbjit’, on the other, her better half has been doing the rounds at media events for Sajid Samji- Farhad Samji directorial ‘Housefull 3’.

In an interview with��The Indian Express, the actress shared, “Both Abhishek�۪s film ��Housefull 3�۪ and my film ��Sarbjit�۪ are completely different. As actors, both Abhishek and I thoroughly enjoy this (comedy) kind of genre. We as actors don�۪t do one kind of cinema and this is what we both share in common.”

Spanning a career of almost 20��years, the model turned actress has shown versatility in the roles she has chosen throughout. The critically acclaimed actress, who has previously done a biopic titled ‘Provoked’ (2006) based on the life of Kiranjit Ahluwalia,��confessed, “As an actor I have always been open to doing all kinds of cinema. Just as much serious is intense work, I have always said comedy is serious work as well for the artists, writers and director. It is wonderful when that kind of cinema evokes that kind of reaction. It means that they (team) have managed to hit the spot.”

After taking a sabbatical to spend some time with their newborn, at the time, daughter Aaradhya Bachchan, the 42 year old actress returned to cinema screens with crime-thriller ‘Jazbaa’ 2015. The philanthropist assured��she ��would be equally happy with more comedy offers coming her way in the future.

���It�۪s a genre that is celebrated for what it is��_it�۪s out there, in the face, big picturisation for songs, etc. So that�۪s the genre that the audience enjoy thoroughly. We are also audience when we see a film,�۝ she said.

In real life, the ‘Dhoom 2′(2006) actress suggested it was probably difficult for some audiences to appreciate her light-hearted side,�ʉ��Sometimes people get the humour and sometimes they don�۪t,�۝ she added.

Abhishek Bachchan is new to the ‘Housefull’ franchise which stars a stellar starcast with it’s latest offering, to include other names such as Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakri, Lisa Haydon, Boman Irani and Chunky Pandey.

Apparently, Abhishek has already treated wife Aishwarya to a sneaky glimpse of the finished production, who shared her thoughts with the following,��”The fact that it�۪s a such a huge successful franchise (��Housefull 3�۪), it means it is succeeding in entertaining the audience. I have seen a couple of scenes of ��Housefull 3�۪ as we were dubbing in same area, so Abhishek and Akshay called to see the scenes and it�۪s a laugh riot.”
