Aishwarya Rai Bachchan impresses Dalbir Kaur

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has essayed the role of Sarbjit Singh’s sister, Dalbir Kaur, in the upcoming biopic, ‘Sarbjit’. Kaur has recently expressed that she is impressed by Rai Bachchan’s efforts.

Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, Kaur said about Rai Bachchan, “She has performed the scenes brilliantly. The angry confrontations gave me goosebumps. I never thought that Aishwarya could be so dabang like me…��She learnt Punjabi for the character. The brother-sister scenes were canned superbly only because of Aishwarya. I am sure Sarbjit will rekindle the fire in audiences, especially in those who are facing such problems.”

The film has been directed by Omung Kumar and also stars Randeep Hooda and Richa Chadda. It releases on 20th May.
