Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is all set to make comeback with Sanjay Gupta’s ‘Jazbaa’, recently said that she had said yes to the film immediately because the movie has an ‘immense voice’ and she is happy to spread it.

Rai Bachchan told Hindustan Times, “It was an immediate yes because the subject has that kind of immense voice which I was very happy to spread and be a part of this team.”

Praising filmmaker Sanjay Gupta, the actress said, “Gupta is a wonderful visionary for this subject on celluloid. And I think the combination is great. I have always enjoyed his work. The subject of this genre and the director…when these two come together, it has an exciting newness to it. So obviously it was an immediate yes.”

Recently, the film was all set to roll this month but has to be pushed as Irrfan Khan, who plays the lead role in the film, has undergone a surgery and has been advised complete bed rest.

Besides Rai Bachchan and Khan, Shabana Azmi and Anupam Kher will also be seen in ‘Jazbaa’.
