Aishwarya Rai Bachchan confirms comeback with two films

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who has been in the news this week after her appearance at the Cannes Film Festival has now also confirmed her comeback movies.

Laying rumours to rest and confirming her return to Bollywood, Bachchan told Hindustan Times that she was doing both Sanjay Gupta and Mani Ratnam’s films. She said, “The choices are about working with these film-makers and on those subjects, because I find them exciting. I�۪m not giving in to the pressure and expectation of questions about what my comeback film will be.”

Adding to her reason for deciding on these films as her return vehicles, she said, “Abhishek (actor-husband) and I both feel that apart from being an exemplary film-maker (Mani Ratnam), it�۪s just a pleasure to work with him. There�۪s something he is always exploring creatively, and it makes the entire team want to push themselves. Working with him is exciting and inspiring, and we are like family.”
