Aishwarya Rai Bachchan�۪s ‘Jazbaa’ gets backing from ZEE

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is all set to make her comeback in Bollywood with Sanjay Gupta�۪s directorial ‘Jazbaa’. The film will also mark the collaboration of two big production houses of this industry, for the first time.

‘Jazbaa’ will now be backed up Gupta’ own production house White Feather Films and Essel Vision Productions LTD (EVPL). EVPL is the creative and production studio of ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL).

Gupta himself confirmed this big collaboration and told IANS, “Having one of the largest Indian television conglomerates backing you is a dream come true for any production house. Also, from doing fast-paced action entertainers, I’m looking forward to making this film as it’s a gripping, yet touching drama.”

Apart from Rai Bachchan, the film also casts Irrfan Khan, Shabana Azmi and Anupam Kher in pivotal roles. The shooting of the film is expected to commence from January 2015.
