Aishwarya irked with KJo after he misses father’s funeral?

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is reportedly miffed with Karan Johar after the latter missed Bachchan’s father Krishnaraj Rai’s funeral last weekend.

According to Indya.com, Bachchan and Johar, who are tight friends so was surprising not to see Johar at Bachchan’s most toughest time.

A source told the publication, “Aishwarya and Karan share a very close bond, which is why everyone expected him to be by Aishwarya’s side at the funeral and the prayer meet.”

It is not known why Johar did not attend but the report adds that things between the two turned frosty during last year’s release ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. Apparently, Bachchan was keen to promote the movie alone when Anushka Sharma was engaged with Imtiaz Ali’s next film. However, rumours say that Johar did not want Bachchan to promote solo handily as she had just an extended cameo in the film.

Of course, Johar’s absence from the prayers last week could be down to a valid reason and we don’t know whether Johar had phoned the actress to give her his support.
