Ahlebait TV to replace KBC in August

A religious channel targeting the Shia community is set to replace KBC (Kashmir Broadcasting Corporation) from Saturday 1st August.

According to our sources, Ahlebait TV broadcast from Manchester and will cover Majaalis, Salaam Marsiyas, Nauhas, Duas, Ziyaraat, Islamic films, Islamic lectures and Quranic programmes in English and Urdu.

Ahlebait TV’s has been set-up by London based Ayatollah Ghadeeri.

It was announced earlier this month that KBC will cease broadcasting on Friday 31st July due to a slowdown in the economic climate. Ahlebait TV bought the Sky Digital EPG, which currently homes KBC on channel 836.
