Aditya Roy Kapur to gain weight for ‘Malang’

The first schedule of Mohit Suri’s ‘Malang’ has begun and it’s been revealed that lead actor Aditya Roy Kapur will be gaining weight for his action-packed role.

“Malang is a dark thriller but it also has shades of a love story. It’s like a romantic film blended with a thriller and a revenge drama. It is going to be intense but interesting, in terms of the lightness in the love story. But I’m over the moon because I’m getting to play an action hero for the first time,” said Roy Kapur, as quoted by Box Office India.

He went on to add, “I’m having a pretty big body transformation that I’m supposed to undergo in the next month or two. I have just about started my work on that. I have to put on some muscles. I have to gain somewhere around 10-11 kilos for the next schedule”.

Roy Kapur will be joined by Anil Kapoor, Disha Patani and Kunal Kemmu on-screen.
