Aditya Roy Kapur rejects offer from Sanjay Leela Bhansali?

After the failure of ‘Daawat-e-Ishq’ (2015), Aditya Roy Kapur has chosen to become more selective and careful with the films he signs.�� The actor has apparently turned down an offer from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s production house, owing to the fact that it would be directed by a first-time director.

A source speaking to Mid Day, said, “Aditya had a meeting with the makers to discuss the concept and he showed interest in the project. However, he seemed hesitant when told that the film will be directed by a relatively new director.”

It can be noted that before his big break as a leading actor with ‘Aashiqui 2’ (2013), Roy Kapur had worked with Bhansali in ‘Guzaarish’ (2010); though Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan essayed the lead roles there, Roy Kapur played a significant part.
