Aditya Roy Kapur on his equation with Katrina Kaif

The rumour mills have been doing overtime lately with news that there is something more than friendship brewing between ‘Fitoor’ (2016) co-stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Katrina Kaif. Whereas the latter’s spokesperson has rubbished the speculation, Roy Kapur has opened up about the equation.

He was asked about reports that he was seeing Kaif to which he replied, in a recent interview with TOI, “Sometimes, you go for dinner with a friend and things get blown out of proportion — that’s ridiculous. It’s like you can’t go to a friend’s house without being linked to her (Katrina). I don’t want to overthink and stop interacting with people because of this. After a while, you stop worrying about the repercussions and let people make their own assumptions. You get used to it; else, you won’t be able to have a conversation with anyone.”

When asked whether he’s single, Roy Kapur chose not to commit, “Let’s just say, I am chilling at the moment and would like to continue doing that. I am not taking things too seriously; I am not in that zone right now.”

Roy Kapur’s next is ‘OK Jaanu’ in which he stars opposite his rumoured ex-flame and ‘Aashiqui 2’ (2013) co-star Shraddha Kapoor.
