Aditya Pancholi, who was enjoying the debut of his son Sooraj in Salman Khan’s production venture ‘Hero’ (2015), received a shocking news when the Supreme Court ordered him to vacate his Mumbai bungalow by the end of this year.

According to DNA, Pancholis have been dwelling in the same building since decades. Delivering the order, the court said, “You are a big man. You can buy a flat. Your conduct (harassing the landlord) is not acceptable.”

Earlier, the Bombay High Court had rejected Pancholi’s plea to retain the tenancy rights over their Juhu bungalow and had also given deadline till 5th November to challenge the order. The reports say that the bungalow is located near Juhu’s ISKCON Temple and it was rented in 1960 at the rate of Rs 150 a month.

It has also been reported that the owners of the bungalow, the Hate family, has begun the legal proceedings against Pancholis in July 1978 for not paying the rent of eight months i.e. from February to October 1977.

However, Pancholi had replied through his legal team that he hadn’t received any legal notice from Tarabai Hate, the landlady, to clear the outstanding rent. Meanwhile, the landlady claims that the letters were sent to Rajan Pancholi, Aditya’s father.
