Aditya Datt signs Akshara Haasan for web series

With the digital platform taking the world by storm, it seems more and more filmmakers and actors are looking to the web as another way to reach their audiences. With many having proved this to be a successful move, it’s now Akshara Haasan who will be joining the growing list of web series actors.

As DNA India reports, Haasan has been singed on by film maker Aditya Datt, in a web series based on the book ‘Good Bye Girl’ (2015) by Sheeja Jose, where she will be seen playing a girl of 18 who seeks justice after being abused by the rich and powerful.

To be co-produced by Sohail Maklai and Girish Johar, this will be a first for Haasan in terms of what her role entails as well. News has it that the actress will undergo vigorous training with an international action coordinator. Delhi and Bangkok has said to be the chosen locations for the project’s shoot.
