As investigations into the passing of Sushant Singh Rajput continue, recently, it has been revealed that filmmaker Aditya Chopra’s statement to the police read that the much anticipated film ‘Paani’ had not been shelved due to any differences with the actor, as earlier reports suggested.
According to Times on India, Chopra’s statement revealed that the film had been shelved due to creative differences with filmmaker Shekhar Kapur who was heading up the project. Though Singh Rajput was heavily invested in the project too, Chopra made it clear that he had no qualms with the actor.
The report goes on to reveal how the police have taken statements from 35 other people including members of the film and TV industry as well as friends and family members from some of their households.
