Actors are Omung Kumar’s priority

Omung Kumar is on a high as his latest release ‘Sarbjit’ has been selected as one of India’s entries to the Oscars.  The director is now gearing up to direct Sanjay Dutt in his next film and has revealed that, for him, an actor becomes his priority.

Kumar told Absolute India, “Right now, I am doing Bhoomi. It is Sanjay Dutt’s comeback film and it is a father-daughter story. I am shooting the entire film in Agra… For me, the actor becomes priority and the story has to restructure itself so that people can stand out and take notice. This is my criteria of filmmaking.”

Kumar also added that the film is not based on a true incident and is a “full Bollywood story”.  Shooting commences this month and the film is scheduled for release on 4th August.
