Abrar Ul Haq to sue Karan Johar & T-Series for ‘The Punjaabban Song’?

Karan Johar’s ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’ has created a strong buzz with the audience due to their active promotions. Although, their song ‘The Punjaabban Song’ has been caught in a war of words as Pakistani singer Abrar Ul Haq says Johar and T-Series did not acquire the permission to use this song in the movie.

Haq took to social media on Saturday and said, “A lot of fans have been asking me why haven’t you gone to the court against Karan Johar and T-Series for stealing your song Nach Punjaban. The answer is yes. I’m going to the court, don’t worry. Merely saying that the credit has been given because the song is well-written and would make their movie a hit. I never gave you the song, I never gave anybody the rights to my song. It belongs to me, so I’ll get it back and I’m coming to the court, see you there.”

Meanwhile, T-Series has said that they have taken the necessary permissions to have ‘The Punjaabban Song’ modified into the film. ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’ releases on 24th June.
