ABP News UK launch details confirmed��

Star Network UK has confirmed to BizAsia that its Star News channel will be relaunching as ABP News simultaneously as India.

There were reports that the branding may get delayed in international territories due to legalities but the channel has now been cleared for launch.

Star News will become ABP News on Friday (1st June) at 10:00 BST on all digital platforms including Sky Digital and Virgin Media.

The change comes after��Star TV India and the Ananda Bazaar Patrika (ABP) Group parted ways after eight years of business together.
