Abhishek thinks Aishwarya is “too mature” for ‘Lefty’?

BizAsiaLive.com recently reported that Abhishek Bachchan will be starring in ‘Lefty’, directed by Prabhudheva. The actor, who will be co-producing the film with Bunty Walia, has apparently turned down wife Aishwarya’s offer to step into the leading lady’s role in the film.

Deccan Chronicle reports that Abhishek has apparently insisted on a newer and younger actress for the film. A source told the publication, “Since it’s a home production, Ash was keen on doing the film. But Abhi has instructed his team to look for a fresh, young face to play the leading lady. He thinks Ash may be too mature for the role”.

No doubt fans would have been excited to see the real-life couple together on the screen but it seems they will have to wait longer for this kind of reunion.

Abhishek will be playing a left-handed character in the film who is able to sense trouble. The film’s story is written by Kona Venkat.
