Abhishek-Priyanka not reuniting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali film

Reports that Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra would be coming together for a Sanjay Leela Bhansali production have been confirmed as false. Rohit Roy, who was allegedly to direct the two actors, has confirmed casting has still not been finalised.

Roy, who has signed a three deal film with the production house, will be directing a love story but casting still remains to be finalised although talks are on with Bachchan.  “I am talking to Abhishek for a few things. So let’s see what happens. He has shown interest in the project but we are yet to finalise other things”, he said as reported by Deccan Chronicle.  Roy also went onto confirm Chopra has not been signed for his film “Priyanka is not doing the film with me, she is doing another film with Bhansali sir”.

The actor turned director also confirmed the film is not based on the life of poet Sahir Ludhianvi as had been reported earlier.

Looks like we will have to wait and watch to see what surprises Roy and Bhansali have up their sleeve.
