Abhishek Kapoor & wife Pragya welcome new baby boy Shamsher

Director Abhishek Kapoor and wife Pragya Yadav have welcomed their second baby boy who they have named Shamsher. An elated Kapoor reveals that the name is apt for their newborn as he is a reflection of Yadav. He also reveals that their older son Isana is more than ready to be a big brother.

On choosing the name Shamsher, Kapoor told Mirror, “It’s fitting since he is reflection of his mom. Meanwhile, Isana has already taken charge of being a responsible big brother and is looking forward to taking his long-awaited sibling under his wings.”

He also added that a child being born is “an overwhelming experience that you are never prepared enough for.”

Kapoor’s next is the much awaited ‘Kedarnath’, starring Sushant Singh Rajput and debutante Sara Ali Khan.
