Abhishek Kapoor & KriArj Entertainment part ways on ‘Kedarnath’

Abhishek Kapoor’s much talked about ‘Kedarnath’ has got itself in a spot of bother after Kapoor’s Guy In The Sky Pictures parted ways with Prernaa Arora’s KriArj Entertainment.

The Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan, which releases in December this year, will now see Kapoor producing the film on his own. DNA India reports that rumours of Kapoor and Arora falling out due to a clash of opinions including default of payments and lack of transparency. The report says that earlier Kapoor had insisted on releasing ‘Kedarnath’ on the same date as Shah Rukh Khan’s dwarf film ‘Zero’, which Arora found “ridiculous”.

The subject of the film also has been immensely talked about, a love story that is set against the backdrop of the devastating incident of 2013 floods. Kapoor has been amidst shooting the film and has completed its first schedule.
