Abhishek-Irrfan come together for Ronnie Screwvala’s next

Earlier this month, BizAsiaLive.com has reported that Ronnie Screwvala had signed Abhishek Bachchan for his next production. News now has it that Bachchan and Irrfan Khan will be coming together for the film.

Akarsh Khurana will be making his directorial debut in the film. A source told Mumbai Mirror, “It’s a light-hearted comedy which will feature Abhishek and Irrfan as friends who, due to certain situations, are forced to take a road trip together. Both the actors loved the script and instantly agreed to be a part of it. The film is expected to roll early next year”.

The hunt for a female lead is on, as the source concludes, “The makers want to cast a fresh face and auditions are currently underway”.

Khurana has co-written the story along with Hussain Dalal.
