Abhishek Bachchan wishes to do ‘K3G’ remake in the future

Popular actor Abhishek Bachchan has gone on record to say he would like to work in a sequel or remake of Karan Johar directorial, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham'(2001).

At a recent press conference for the promotion of his latest film ‘Housefull 3’, Indian Express reported the actor telling IANS, “My dream film is ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’. If there is a remake or even a sequel, I would like to be a part of that.”

The movie had at the time garnered much attention and massive hype due to the on screen reunion of real-life couple and veteran actors Amitabh Bachchann and Jaya Bachchan on screen after 18 years. With the tag-line ‘It’s all about loving your parents’, rumours had naturally circulated��over the possibility of��Junior��Bachchan’s involvement in the project but nothing had ever materialised.

For now, the actor of ‘Yuva'(2004) fame will also be seen alongside Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Lisa Haydon and Jacqueline Fernandez and Nargis Fakhri in his upcoming movie. ‘Housefull 3’ is set for release on 3rd June.
