Abhishek Bachchan to write ‘Happy New Year’ sequel?

Despite the film having received mixed reviews, it was evident that everyone could agree on the fact that Abhishek Bachchan stole the show in ‘Happy New Year’ (2014). Having enjoyed himself so much, apparently the actor has taken it upon himself to write the sequel.

Talking to the media NDTV��reported director Farah Khan confirming, ” Abhishek Bachchan is writing ‘Happy New Year’ sequel. He has taken the responsibility now.”

“If I will like the script, then we would make the film. I would be directing it,” she went onto add.

Still in its early stages, it will be some time before any other details will be revealed. Here’s hoping Bachchan’s new found talent will be received with open arms and as much applause as his performance.
