Abhishek Bachchan on not being in ‘Sarkar 3’

There has been much speculation as to why Abhishek Bachchan will not be in the third instalment of the ‘Sarkar’ franchise. The actor has finally broken his silence on the subject.

According to Deccan Chronicle, Bachchan Junior said, “It’s unfortunate that I couldn’t be part of Sarkar 3. My character was killed in Sarkar 2. This was one of my favourite films and also one of my favourite characters to play. I’d love to be part of the continuing saga in some way or the other.”

The actor is keen to do another film with his father. He said, “Every time I get to do a film with him, I emerge stronger as an actor. Every film with him has been a memorable experience. And movies are all about memories.”

He says he is a true fan of his father, “He continues to surprise all of us. Actors of my generation and those before and after me can’t stop learning from him.”
