Abhishek Bachchan confirms: “I have walked out of Hera Pheri 3”

Whilst attending a recent press conference, actor Abhishek Bachchan, who has been engaged in promotions for upcoming release ‘Housefull 3’, shared news about his future ventures and discussed all things showbiz.

Admitting he was no longer a part of Neeraj Vora directorial, ‘Hera Pheri 3’ the actor was reluctant to elaborate on the matter. When probed, according to��Pinkvilla, the ‘Delhi 6′(2009) actor merely stated, “I have walked out of Hera Pheri 3. So that isn’t happening.”

The movie was in fact announced over a year ago, with shooting due to commence in June last year. However, various reports also speculated that the film had got shelved after��unconfirmed reasons circulated in the media.

Bachchan has also been seen as a regular in the ‘Dhoom’ franchise which till date consists of three movies and appears to be gearing towards a fourth. Apparently, however, news in the grapevine is that now, in all likelihood, Ranveer Singh will replace Bachchan’s character in the film and fit into the shoes of the good-guy, police officer, ‘Jai Dixit’, giving a little revamp to the next thriller action in the series ‘Dhoom 4’.

When questioned, the actor who made his debut with ‘Refugee'(2000), responded casually, “I am not aware of Dhoom 4. Generally Aditya Chopra calls me when the script is ready. That hasn’t happened yet.”
