Abhishek Bachchan admits to “passing role” in ‘Shamitabh’

Abhishek Bachchan recently completed the press conference for the Britannia Filmfare Awards. During the event, he admitted that he is also a part of his father’s forthcoming film ‘Shamitabh’.

“I’ve done a passing role in Shamitabh”, said Bachchan. He was last seen with Amitabh Bachchan in 2012’s ‘Bol Bachchan’ when his father featured in the title song. Prior to that they were also together in 2009’s ‘Paa’ switching real life roles for the film.

“I have been waiting to win a Filmfare award since seven years, my acceptance speech is also ready,” said Bachchan, who is hopeful after already winning awards for his role in ‘Happy New Year’ (2014).
