Abhinay Deo keen on ‘Delhi Belly’ sequel

Abhinay Deo recently directed ‘Force 2’ and has also done ‘24’ episodes. However, when asked about it, he said that he would be keen to do a sequel to his film ‘Delhi Belly’ (2011).

“I am dying to do a part two of Delhi Belly. It was a different film, and that’s why it worked. If the script is good enough for the sequel, I’d love to do it,” said Deo, according to Hindustan Times.

He went on to say he received many offers post ‘Delhi Belly’, “After Delhi Belly, I got almost 30-32 scripts, all comedies. But I rejected them all because there was nothing challenging in them”.

Constantly looking for something that challenges him, Deo added, “It’s a continuous process to invent yourself. Time moves really fast. The world is changing, so if you don’t challenge yourself, you won’t last long”.

‘Delhi Belly’ starred Imran Khan, Vir Das and Kunaal Roy Kapur.
