Abhay Deol shares his personal fears if he worked with (Taya) Dharmendra

At the launch of his upcoming film with Patralekha, ‘Nanu Ki Jannu’, Abhay Deol shares that he would love to team up with his family for film.

Reported on DNA India, Deol’s uncle (Taya), who is no other than veteran actor Dharmendra, said that he would be worried if he didn’t act perfectly in front of his Taya or cousins, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. If the opportunity did ever arise to do a film together, the ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ (2011) star would also be even more picky about the script. “I would love to work with my family. It’s just that you know how picky I am with my own work,”…”Tomorrow, if you’re going to come to me with a subject where you want me and my family together in it, I’ll be going through the scripts even more diligently because I would want it to be that much perfect,” says Deol.

The ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ (2016) actor further added that he will do a film with his family, when the “Right script comes along.” However, the ‘Aisha’ (2010) actor shared a fear he had if he worked with his family. “My one thing is, I wouldn’t know how to be anybody else other than who I am in front of my brothers and ‘taya’ (Dharmendra). It’s so difficult for me to imagine acting like someone else (in front of them). If I have to be rude to Taya, I don’t even know if I’ll have the courage to perform in front of him. That’s my own personal fear.”

For now, we will have to wait for the day the Deol family do collaborate for a film.

‘Nanu Ki Jannu’, is slated to release on the 20th April and is a horror-comedy directed by Faraz Haider.
