Abhay Deol not keen on marriage

Abhay Deol’s love life hit the headlines last year when reports of his split from Preeti Desai emerged.

However, the actor, who makes his return in Bollywood with ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ this weekend, has said that he has never been keen on the idea of marriage.

In an interview with SpoyBoye, Deol said, “See, I do believe in the institution of marriage. I always have. Not for me personally (it�۪s not his cup of tea), but I do believe that it works for some people���to each his own. What I don�۪t believe is that you have to marry the person you love in order to show that you are committed. I believe signing on a piece of paper doesn�۪t guarantee love, monogamy, commitment and all of those things. That comes through trust and understanding two people have. And that is what I mean when I say that marriage is not an institute for me. But it works for some people and they turn around and tell me that it works and they are right, because they have made it work.”
