Abhay Deol has been forced to mortgage his flat in Juhu after feeling under financial strain.
The flat, which is situated in Pandurang Co-operative Housing Society in Pandurang Wadi, Juhu. The flat is said to be reportedly worth around Rs. 3 crore.
Mid-Day reports that the financial issues resulted from his maiden production ‘One By Two’ proving a disaster at the box office, followed by the tussle with a record label for the film’s music.
Deol confirmed the developments to the publication, ���I have availed a loan for which I had to give papers for this property as surety.� A source close to Deol added, ���He is currently residing in another house of his in Santacruz. He is redoing his Goa property.�
If the actor fails to repay the loan, the bank could seize the property and auction it off.
