ABC Network goofs up after mixing up Priyanka Chopra with Yukta Mookhey

American television network, ABC was forced to issue an apology after goofing up by showing a picture of Miss World 1999, Yukta Mookhey instead of Priyanka Chopra, who was crowned Miss World the subsequent year.

Incidentally Chopra made her American television debut with ‘Quantico’ on ABC on Sunday night. However, its news programme ‘Nightline’ used footage of Mookhey, only later to correct itself by showing the wrong Miss World!

‘Nightline’ took to Twitter to apologise to Chopra with “Our sincerest apologies @priyankachopra . Here is the corrected story: http://abcn.ws/1NZSRZP”. Chopra accepted the apology by responding, “Thank you for the correction @Nightline .. #Quantico http://twitter.com/Nightline/status/648908847193661440 ��_”
